Young Leadership Council

CCBF's Young Leadership Council (YLC) is a group of young professionals dedicated to raising funds and awareness for CCBF. The council hosts various fundraising, networking, and social events that attract hundreds of young professionals in the New York City area. 

Council members are required to attend quarterly meetings where they are given the opportunity to take part in the planning and execution of several functions throughout the year. Amanda Baron 

Amanda works as a Relationship Management Associate on the Institutional team at First Eagle Investment Management. She is responsible for helping the team manage relationships with global institutional clients including corporate and public pension funds, endowments, foundations and sovereign wealth funds. Prior to joining First Eagle, Amanda held positions at Van Eck, Acadian Asset Management and Arrowstreet Capital. Ms. Baron earned a B.S. in Finance from Bentley University.

Hannah Brown

Hannah joined the Children's Cancer & Blood Foundation as a volunteer in 2015 and previously worked in marketing within the food industry in the UK. Hannah graduated from the University of Birmingham in 2013 with a first class degree in Business Management.

Jillian Lucas

Jillian works as a Radiology Services Liaison for NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medicine. She has been with Weill Cornell Imaging Since February 2012. She is an active leader in the healthcare community, helping deliver a flawless transition for patients between their healthcare providers and the lifesaving radiology services they need. Additionally, Jillian is responsible for the coordination and execution of her teams involvement in the Breast Cancer Walk and Walk MS- National MS Society. Ms. Lucas earned a B.A. in Anthropology from Oneonta University. 

Chelsea Murzyn

Chelsea works as a Public Relations Consultant for The Wonderful Company. She is responsible for media event execution, strategic account management, and developing relationships with top influencers in consumer and lifestyle outlets for Teleflora and Wonderful Halos.Prior to joining The Wonderful Company in 2014 Chelsea worked in international and domestic marketing roles for Chanel, Inc and Guthy-Renker, LLC. Chelsea started her career at J.P. Morgan as the investment bank training program coordinator. Mrs. Murzyn earned a B.S. in Industrial and Labor Relations and graduated Magna Cum Laude from Cornell University. 

Lauren Nadan

Lauren leads Marketing Analytics for BlackRock’s Global Marketing & Communications Group. In this role, Lauren is responsible for building an industry leading marketing analytics capability by defining the processes and organizational capabilities to embed analytics into marketing strategy and decision making.

Prior to joining BlackRock in July 2015, Ms. Nadan was a Manager at American Express, where she was responsible for project managing several strategic and technological projects to modernize the marketing process. Ms. Nadan began her career as an Analyst at American Express where she worked as part of the Membership Marketing team for the Consumer Cards business, driving new card acquisitions specifically for the Premier Rewards Gold Card. Ms. Nadan earned a B.A. degree in Marketing from Emory University, Goizueta Business School.

Salil Subbakrishna

Salil works as a Business Consultant at Eze Software Group where he advises hedge funds and asset managers on their compliance and risk management needs. Prior to his work at Eze, he worked as a software engineer at a Big Data-focused startup in Los Angeles and Bank of America's electronic trading division. Salil holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Columbia University and will be joining the MBA program at the University of Michigan's Ross School of Business this fall.
